What is a Virtual Assistant?

A VA is an professional aide who provides administrative, marketing and creative services to small business owners, startups and entrepreneurs.

What kind of work can a VA do?

VAs have always provided administrative tasks such as word processing, bookkeeping, invoicing and billing. But that’s just the beginning: In addition to managing your inbox and calendar, your VA can also do research, add leads to your CRM and manage online marketing.  VAs have experience with customer service, either online or on the phone.  They can create custom spreadsheets, documents and forms, manuals and presentations. Do you have an online store? VAs are experts at building and optimizing online product listings for Amazon and other portals and handling customer communications. Would you like a larger online presence? Your VA can post to social media such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and your Facebook Business Page, as well as write custom blogs for you!

This sounds expensive.

Not really. You only pay for the amount of work that you need. You don’t pay for training, office space or payroll taxes. We charge a flat fee of $45/hour, with discounts for larger blocks of time. No setup fees, no contracts, no long-term commitments. Our goal is your satisfaction, and if you wish to stop using our service, just let us know and we will stop billing going forward.  Your only responsibility is the current month of billing, nothing more. If you go over your hour allotment for any month, we’ll let you know before you incur any extra charges. Any additional hours that you agree to will be billed at your usual discounted rate. If you don’t use all the hours that you’ve already paid for, we’ll roll them over to the next month.

What hours do VAs work?

Our default is daytime, weekday hours, but if you absolutely need something overnight or by Monday morning, we can handle it.

Do you handle scheduling?

Your VA can coordinate phone calls, meetings, schedule appointments, and manage your calendar. We can support Google Calendar, Outlook, and others.  All you need to do is share and grant your Virtual Assistant access to manage your calendar. It is that simple!

Do you offer telephone services?

We will contact vendors, do research, and make routine customer service calls for you.  Please provide guidelines so that we can reflect your style of doing business. We are not an answering service, though, and cannot accept your incoming calls.

Can my VA organize my email?

Your VA can read, send, delete, organize, filter, and create rules for messages on your behalf. It’s a great way to stay on top of email and keep your inbox tidy. We’d also be happy to organize and execute marketing email campaigns.

Can my VA design a presentation for me?

Your VA can create, format and edit personal or business presentations with your guidance on content, images and detailed instructions.

Can my VA work with my project management tools or other specialized software?

We would be happy to assist if you are able to provide access to the software and instructions.
